Selling my games?
I bought Clickteam Fusion 2.5 in a Humble Bundle and I have the Developer Upgrade and all. Is it legally sound to sell games made with this?

Yes it's 100% legal to sell game you create with CF.

@Tim: he said "games made with". I assume he's talking about the games he will create.

Cool, I was wondering because there was a small footnote on my receipt that said items bought in this bundle were "for personal use only" and I wasn't sure if that meant no re-selling the items themselves or no monetizing the games I make with CF.

I believe the "personal use only" thing means, unless you send a gift link to someone, that the bundle is intended for your use, not for selling/trading/whatever.

You can sell games made with CTF. You just have to make sure the assets you use are original creations or that you have license to use them. For example if you were to make a game with original characters, sound, and music, With Fusion Developer you can sell them and you don't have to put a splash screen in saying 'made with fusion' or any such thing.

If you were to do the same but you had Fusion (not developer) the you'd have to put that splash-screen in.

On the other hand if your game had sonic the hedgehog as it's main character fighting megaman bosses, Mario bros Music and Echo the Dolphin sound effects then you wouldn't be able to sell your game unless you had asset release agreements from Sega, Nintendo and Capcom.

Good luck.
