Fix for low fps in game

So i have Red Alert 3 and RA3Uprising. RA3 runs like a charm on Ultra no problems with the game at all, yet RA3U has some serious issues. Cutscenes are smooth btw. But the game plays slow mo, ofc setting everything to low improves performance. Tryed turning Vsync,AA no significant improvements, the biggest FPS bump comes from lowering water details. Am i missing something? Is there an easy fix for this?

I found a solution (had same issue). RA3 works without any issues on Ultra, while Upraising does not. Well... from unknon reason the RA3U is being lunched via integrated graphic card, instead of GeForce - in my example. Simply just change the setting in Nvidia control paned, 3D settings. At my end the RA3U wasn't even listed there in the app combo box, so I had to add it manually (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 Uprising\RA3EP1.exe). It silves the issue - all runs smoothly even on Ultra.

Thank you ! It worked out, had to restart the system for it to take effect. The game was running smooth on a new launch.

It does seem that if you are running it on laptop with dual graphics, nvidia does not pick it up. (RE3U)

Yup, that's the case. Sometimes it happens like that with various games. No idea why.
