Challenge mode difficulty

Just venting really. ♥♥♥♥'s frustrating.

Challenge mode is fun at first with neat little level gimmicks, but a few missions in it seems designed for those top league players with 10,000 APM. Like they're attacking every part of the map simultaneously, each with an army that could take on everything i have. This is like a minute into the mission and I'm already out of money from a refinery, a barracks and like 4 dudes. And they counter EVERYTHING.

Seriously? A level covered with toxin but they also have EIGHT Migs and a battalion of AA bulldogs that wipe out 40 aircraft in seconds the moment you leave base? Oh and constant Kirovs because of course.

Capture all the oil derricks but the map's swarming with advanced enemy units by the time I've built a vehicle?

It's a shame because I enjoyed the less savage levels. Is it a balancing oversight? Or is it just not built for those of us who haven't won championships?

It's almost like its called challenge mode...
Anyhow i remember being stuck on that challenge too and what i did was turtle my way through the mission as the first thing i built was a wall of flak turrets to destroy any air units like kirovs coming my way. And by wall i mean all the sides filled with turrets. Then i waited until i got enough money to even compete against the opponent.
But remember that there are other challenges too.

Only way, I think, to truly win is either to watch walkthrough/guide vids on how to win those near-impossible missions or cheat via more monies. '^^

95% challenges are easy completed with dojo rush.

I agree, the difficulty level does ramp up pretty ridiculously and there are quite a few I've never managed to do, some even having watched walk throughs of them.

I just lost like 500 units to an enemy zepplin , lol my aircraft wouldnt shoot it and nothing else could kill it , it wiped out my entire base 2x before i could kill it
