Command & Conquer™ Red Alert™ 3 - Uprising

Maps missing -> skirmish is not starting
I have trouble starting a skirmish match (ofline). It freezes and eventually crashes the game. This happens in both uprising and the vanilla game (unmodded).

I already did a full reinstall (with the help of Revo uninstaller), added a new profile and removed skirmish.ini

After searching for a while, I think I found the culprit. I cannot find the official map files. Can someone tell me where they should be located? Am I right to assume they should be in "%App Data%/Roaming/Red Alert 3/ Maps" ?

I bought the game on steam and also tried a reinstall already. I wanted to make sure that the files should be there in the steam version as well. Other steam versions of existing games have moved some stuff around. That's the reason for my question.

Thanks for your quick reply. I figured out what the problem was. The controlled folder access setting in Windows 10 was interfering. I had already given premission to the exe file, but disabling it solved the problem. The strange thing is that there are still no files in the Maps folder, so they must be stored elsewhere. Thanks for your comments Vladimerry
