Get rid the helicopters in PvE mode.

Just make the LZ areas a safe place to extract or just make it so you can port to and from base camps and LZ areas.

There is no reason I need to spend 5 minutes spamming the heli button just to get a chopper, then it takes 2-6 minutes for it to fly to the LZ , then I it takes 2-6 minutes again to fly back to base camp.

Once I didnt realize that I did not have a quest item on me it took me 43 minutes to make the trip to Ban Pa twice. 43 minutes of me not doing anything but staring at the map.

Its just a dumb waste of time in a PvE server.

For about every 10 minutes of me actually playing the game I am spending another 10- 15 minutes either trying to get a helicopter or flying in a helicopter. Didn't realize I was buying a flight sim lol.

Even if they add more choppers it still takes way to long. If you call a chopper at Ban Pa it takes 6 min for the chopper to get there and 6 min for the chopper to return you to base. For a total of 12 minutes doing nothing.

In the PvE server there is no reason to stand around doing nothing like that. They add nothing but a frustrating time sink in my opinion.

i think the correct approach is as follows for PvE
- some LZs allow you to deal with traders or transfer items to stash, can be unlocked via quests after the 1st town
- maybe allow for "safe logout" in LZs
- add more choppers!!!
- make it so new choppers are spawned near the LZ instead of having some chopper travel from ALL across the map, essentially making it a double trip

I change servers if all birds are in the air. I just wish theyd offer more helos. maybe 10 per faction? or just however many are needed maybe? I dont think they should get rid of the flight time as its already hard enough to complete kill missions and bounties with everyone else trying to do them at the same time, but I hate the "denied all available birds are in the air" message

The helicopters need a fix. But not removal. They add immersion. I don’t just want to teleport to landing zones to grind through the missions. When on a server that has less population and helicopters aren’t at a premium then it adds a fun mechanic for me at least.

I disagree, leave them in PvE. Anything taking away from the immersion of this game should not even be considered. This games going to be a masterpiece

I agree, it can be a bit of a pain trying to call one in to an LZ, but I absolutely *love* the immersive feeling of calling one in and then riding all the way out WITH NO LOADING SCREEN.

No. Do not listen to this guy developers.

Do NOT remove heli's. No fast travel. Do NOT cater to the carebear casual crowd. Increase the heli count to 6 and be done with it.

I'm sorry dude. It was your fault that you forgot your quest item. That's YOUR fault. Do not blame the game for it and try to change it and ruin it for everyone else because you have no patience.

Go play CoD.
