Hazardous Treasures bug(?)

I don't know if this is a bug or not, or if the developers just don't care. But the Hazerdous Treasures task doesn't give a single point of rep with handshake. Does anyone else find this odd? It took me 2 1/2 hours to get this task done, I feel like getting some rep points should be a given.
