at least add some miniguns to the helis
From a mathematical point of view, that doesn´t make any sense. On average there is 10-15 players on the servers I play. Problem is that traveltime and a lot of soloplayers ( like myself ) just put a choke on the system.
If every person got their own chopper, it would be quite the loud combat zone and cause some lag due to the amount of choppers. We already have 12 on the map, 4 per faction, imagine if we had 24 on the map.
Im not saying we should all have seperate helicopters.. all im saying is that more should be available when the servers are crowded.
LOD is basically only rendering things that need to be rendered. Things that are visible and in the scene, but also switching out high resolution textures for lower ones when applicable. This should also apply to NPCs, players and helicopters.
Take PvE out of the game and you'd have a ton of people asking for refunds due to the game being marketed as PvE first, PvP second. Effectively, they'd kill their own game.
Tarkov been averaging 100k players for the past 6-7 years without PvE. This game would be better without PvE and PvE players and would do just fine without them.
PvE players just complain about any and every challenge that they encounter. The lack of ability for PvE players to overcome challenges is why they play PvE in the first place. I was put into a Joint Ops server by accident and was the most boring experience I have ever had in my 20 years of gaming. I don't know how players get on a game like this to take PvE seriously. There's is no real threat or challenge to PvE at all. AI is at POIs are almost always dead, no threat of enemy PMCs ever. There is no sense of intensity or threat in PvE; PvE is a complete waste of their resources, time and server space to keep in this game.
