Hey everyone,

I'm running into a really frustrating issue. I've been playing Gray Zone Warfare for over 1000 hours with no problems. Recently, I did a clean install of Windows 11, installed all the latest drivers, and downloaded the latest version of Steam.

Now, when I try to launch the game, I get this error:

"This application requires the Steam client. Run the Steam client, sign in and try again."

Steam is installed, I’m logged in, and everything seems up to date. I’ve never had this issue before, and I’m at my wit’s end.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Running Steam as Administrator

Launching the game directly from the Steam Library (not via desktop shortcut)

Verifying integrity of game files

Temporarily disabling antivirus/Windows Defender

Restarting Steam and my PC multiple times

Reinstalling Steam Runtime / Reinstalling Steam entirely

None of these steps have worked. The game refuses to launch with the same Steam client error every time.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

i tried everything. i verified, reinstalled, moved file, used cmd prompt, updated driver, update my pc, ect........
