Gray Zone Warfare

Gray Zone Warfare

COPs and PVE
So i get that the first team to take the COP gets it, but does it ever get turned over? or AI attack? I under stand the pvp it flips with being attacked, but how is it going to work in pve?

Great question. I was wondering the same thing. I've been worried that I will log in and most, if not all of the COPs will be taken, essentially locking me out of experiencing that part of the game.

I don't like that idea. They should have AI attack and try to take it back. I hope they change this in the future.

i like the idea of AI taking it back for PVE, maybe after some countdown timer (x hours)?
In PVE, Joint Operations, if one Faction takes over a COP/ FOB, every faction has access.

Exactly why it sucks. I doubt I will ever be able to take one over with my buddies. They will all be taken over by the time I get out of work and jump online. I really hope we are able to have private servers upon full release. This will mitigate so many of the known issues with the game.

It will likely be like it works for looting places now, sometimes you get into empty servers and will have to go capture them, sometimes it will be already occupied. Just have to wait and see, and I'm sure they will adjust how it works with input from the mass of regular players.

yeah, there are always going to be the no-lifer who server jumps. We already see that happening with a few high-end loot areas..... like someone's garage..... I think over my 3 play throughs, i have looted it once.... i can literally, only remember, one time.

i like this idea of shared cops but to add a new aspect to it and replayability in pve, it would be nice if the cop isnt used for awhile they it gets swapped back to enemy AI and needs to be retaken

Gray Zone Warefare, was in in my memory always advertised as PVE main and PVP as secondary.
With that shared cops and fobs, I do not know, what the purpose of different factions actually is.

And i would highly appreciate if PVE and PVP do not have the same stashes...
With that, maybe COPS could be used, to "send" equipment to stash to stash.
Why?
in pvp you will die alot more than on pve, obviously and having a bad week, i do not wanna invest all my gear to pvp, just to have non in pve.
The other Extraction shooter, which name we do not need, has it with the pvp and pve mode and I like that, also because the stash of PVE does not get wiped, this exactly feature may collide with stash transactions via cops.

Hi, just to clarify — in PvE, a faction still needs to capture a Combat Outpost (COP) before it can use it. However, multiple factions can capture and control the same COP simultaneously.
I predict snipers a couple of hundred yards out in thick brush will make short work of anyone defending one of these outposts. Especially if the defenders are distracted by a small fire team assaulting the base.

2 snipers and 4 assaulters will be a very powerful fire team.

My take is the COPs are mainly to give PVP more to do, they use them in PVE to cater for all the complainers of heli rides.

in PVE
Its called Joint operations, so if one faction has a COP all of them do.
So if your faction takes the COP with the bonus vendor on it. Everyone can use that bonus vendor.
How often a COP gets reattacked by AI. Now that is the question.
I kinda think the longer a COP is held. The quicker each time the AI respawns to try & take it. Or more of them, or both!
"How often a COP gets reattacked by AI. Now that is the question."

It doesn't.
