DEVS Latest dlss and frame generation files
Anyone know why this particular game won't allow you to update the dlss and dlssg to the latest files?

I can only assume it's something to do with the anti cheat but other games like ready or not and call of duty allow me to always update these when a new version comes out.

I've used the invidia profile inspector to activate the latest dlss 4 by setting it to present K but it would be nice to be able to also keep the dlss files up to date to get the best performance/visuals.

Hopefully Devs can look at this as to my knowledge this has nothing to do with cheating.

Use the Nvidia app?

MFG have been decent about keeping the upscaling methods relatively updated, and they are working with nvidia on integrating native DLSS4 in game.

Why are you worried about the specific dll file though if you are just going to override to the latest preset anyway? Are you just wholly resistant to using the app? The overrides via the app already force DLSS to v310.2.1 while in game, regardless of the current dll versions.

Hi thanks for your reply.

In regards to the dll files I'm not overly worried but just curious as to why I couldn't update these with the dlss swapper as I do with all my other games that use dlss and then use the Nvidia profile inspector to activate the latest presets.

I guess because I've been use to this method ever since Nvidia launched the terrible Geforce experience (which was just an unnecessary drain on resources). I've usually just downloaded the latest drivers directly and always perform a clean install without adding the app.

To be fair I haven't given the new Nvidia app a try and I know from reading experiences from others users theres still issues with performance loss.
Although this was early on from when the new app launched so maybe I should give it a try.

Just make sure the Game filters and Photo mode is turned off, it should come disabled by default now anyway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBW_3tArLOY If you're really worried you can turn off all overlays.
