Loot crates restock timer refreshing each time it is opened
Is it intentional that loot crates will have their timer for restocking reset every time someone interacts with them?
If it is, then what is the purpose of this?
If it isn't, then when can we expect fix?

And in case someone wants to claim that crates have varying refresh timers - they don't, at least crate X in location Y has had always the same restock timer for me (30 minutes). I have camped certain crates and they restock at the same exact interval (if nobody else touches them). They can be bodyblocked, so it is possible to make sure that nobody else interacted with it (for research purposes, or just waiting after clearing AI). It is of course possible that other crates have different intervals, but it isn't random.

As for the camping of the crates, I think that the devs have full control over this situation and could easily fix it if they cared (like place more crates or sell their contents from vendors).

Im thinking that this is a milsim, not a game about camping out at crates to make money.. but maybe that´s just me..?
Its not exactly a straight up milsim, you have to loot crates to find highest end gear and weapons aside from a one time task reward. Some do seem to make it an obsession.

It would be nice to have more crates dispersed through the map that yield high end stuff, and it would be better to have more, or even any loot rewards for exploring more remote places, like especially some of the rarer keys, or even just high tier ammo, or something that makes running for 15 minutes through brush and woods to only find the same stuff you find in the outskirts starter towns, if that. I thought they wanted us to get out and look around the map more? What's the point when the only good rewards come from tackling the more dense defended urban areas.

It is fine if they want to keep it that way, but at the same time I do get disappointed when I clear out a POI only to find that the crates are already open. Restock timer getting refreshed by someone who interacts with an already looted crate, only makes this problem worse, because it delays loot availability.

Part of why I start this game and go out in the field is to get some loot. There really is only so much entertainment I can get by killing AI in the same exact location for 20th time, if I get no gear out of it.

Yeah, the problem is you never know until you look, I have looked in open crates to find valuable stuff that they didn't want or couldn't take. I have started drop everything from the crates so they are there for the taking without opening them, but natural curiosity is to look anyway. Like I said, I would prefer crates and loot to be much more dispersed to avoid some of that kind of congestion where half the players on the map check a single location like Elena's garage or the control tower multiple times a game day when its busy.
