Is >=40 but <= 45 too old to go into infantry?

im 21 and feel like im 35 so unless you want to turn into a pile of dust real quick, would not recommend

I have no idea the ukrainian army gets by with an average soldier age of 43. But then again, if you were born in the 80s you by definition can never be considered old.
Brother, If the threat of true war isn't on your doorstep, then yes.
Only if everything collapses. I don't think ANY US branch of the military will take anyone over 40. I think USAF tops out a 39, and if you're going that route it's best to step in with some work experience and a college education and become an officer. Hell, any branch is better for you if you're an officer.
