game has worked fine from jump and now says steam client required?

Hey,
Steam must be running in the background.
If it's already running and you're still seeing the error message, try these steps:
1.Check Steam Settings:

• Open Steam and go to Settings.
  
• Navigate to Account and ensure you’ve opted out of any beta participation.
  
• Go to Downloads and click Clear Download Cache.

2.Delete the Steam Folder in AppData/Local:

• Exit Steam completely (make sure it's not running in the system tray).
  
• Press Windows Key + R, type %localappdata%, and press Enter.
  
• Locate and delete the Steam folder inside AppData/Local.
  
• Relaunch Steam.

3.Run Steam as Administrator:

• Locate steam.exe on your computer (typically in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam).
  
• Right-click it and select Properties.
  
• Go to the Compatibility tab.
  
• Check Run this program as an administrator.
  
• Click Apply, then OK.

4.Delete the GZW Folder in Local AppData:

• Press Windows Key + R, type %localappdata%, and press Enter.
  
• Delete the GZW folder.

5.Check Game Executable Compatibility Settings:

• Right-click Gray Zone Warfare in Steam.
  
• Select Manage > Browse Local Files.
  
• Navigate to Binaries > Win64.
  
• Locate both:
  GZWClientEAC
  GZWClientSteam-Win64-Shipping
  
• Right-click each, select Properties, and go to the Compatibility tab.
  
• Make sure Run this program as an administrator is NOT checked.

6.Verify Game Files in Steam:

• In Steam, right-click the game and select Properties.
  
• Go to Installed Files and click Verify Integrity of Game Files.
  
• Relaunch the game after verification.

7.Check Your Antivirus:

• Make sure your antivirus isn’t blocking any of the game’s files.

unfortunately i have done all of this and being a supporter edition with 250hrs sucks not being able to play i even deleted and reinstalled

The game wont work

I try to start playing and i get a measage that says steam client is not running
