Crash issue,in game.
Hi I have done nothing but crash in game after 2 hours like clock work.

But! I finally sorted it..and haven't crashes after 4hours of gameplay today.

I went to nividia properties global settings shader cache an set it from 10gb to 100gb..haven't crashed since an performance is good.

So overall pleased as I love the game but just was getting beat up from crashing.

Maybe this might help others that are having this problem.
See you on the front line.

For those unfamiliar with this setting:
This option limits the amount of hard disk space used for the shader cache.
If your cache size is too small, older shaders will be deleted to make room for new ones.
If the game needs those deleted shaders again, it will have to recreate them, which can result in longer load times or stuttering.
To find this setting: Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings or Global Settings > Shader Cache Size > change size.
For some users, this setting can help, while for others, it makes no difference at all

Yeah I haven't crashed once since I changed it. An I've crash consistently since I bought the game. So I'm glad this worked for me.

Have you ever used DDU and Windows safe mode when uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, or do you just use geforce experience or the nvidia app to install over the old ones every time? I feel like you should doublecheck your Nvidia shader cache folder sizes. You may be able to claw back a few GB of drive space by clearing out old unused shader cache files that build up.

There's a few different possible locations you can google, but they should be in the hidden C:\Users\(user)\AppData directory, and inside Local and LocalLow there can be Nvidia folders.

Alternatively just set the shader cache option in the nvidia control panel to disabled, restart your computer, then set it back to 10GB and it should clear everything out. This may not work anymore especially if using the nvidia app

To be honest I'm a pvp beast bit non idea we're it comes to this type of stuff, all I know is I have a 256gb ssd an a 2 tb HD,so space isn't an issue for me but I'm set it too 100gb not one crash since,so I think I'm just going to leave it alone. It's just frame rate optimisation is what game needs if I play on like 80/90 fps game looks horrible,I'm on a steady 50fps,but the game looks crisp colourfull an smooth,

Vibrant so I will probably leave as is for the time being,an wait for optimisation for higher fps,
Thanks for the response I will bear that in mind,
