Anybody snag physical "valuable" loot from higher tier areas?

I've found loot at starting town, and a few trinkets scattered in bodies, but so far, nothing really of spectacular value ($100-$250). Most items (especially 2x2 grid ones) you're still better off hoarding sights if you can get them. This is to be expected for a starting area; has anyone ventured into Tiger Bay, Sapphire, etc. and found valuable loot there? If so, what values would you say are average or is it the same garbage you can find in starter town?
