Now we are paying for games that run like ♥♥♥♥.
You do know you chose to buy into an EA game, yes? It's not like they hid that optimization would be spotty lol.
Just want to confirm, the Ryzen 79*0X3D chips with 2 CCDs require some special setup to park cores properly for gaming, like running Microsoft Game Bar and making sure GZW is properly added to it, having Game Mode on, and I think also running the Balanced power profile in Windows. Have you gone through all these steps to confirm it's working properly?
I think an easy way to test (aside from what's listed below) is to open up Task Manager or Resource Monitor and keep the window on top while playing, and verifying that only one CCD is being utilized while you game. Basically either all of the either first, or second set of 6cores/12threads should be loaded up while the other set is idle (i forget which CCD has the 3d v-cache). If you see higher load jumping around to all 12cores/24threads then it's configured wrong.
