Still an AI nightmare

If you were hoping they fixed the AI and how unbelievably tanky they are you will be disappointed, after playing for about 30 mins give or take and doing rather well i had one dude walk in on me and a dude healing, i was done and heard the footsteps so i moved to cover the hall, the AI couldn't have been more than 4 feet away and i dump probably around 12 or 15 rounds of 556 SP into this this AI wearing nothing but shorts and a fanny pack into his chest and he one shots me with a CZ scorpion maybe a little above my plate.

this game will always be so mid simply because the AI being this way, this will be the 4th time since release ive given this game a chance and it might be my last unless something is done about the TTK for AI.

Slight improvement in 6 months is simply not good enough.
There are amateur modders out there making incredible AI for SPT single player tarkov.

The AI is horrible. I usually hate big Triple A companies but the one thing they do right is AI because they spend the real money for it.

These devs have been riding the money train from PVP junkies thinking that they can ignore AI and PVE. Once the PVP dopamine hits run out they will abandon the game.

The AI has to be completely ripped out and replaced.

That's the story of most of these indie live service games. They buy the Unreal engine software and hope nobody notices they can't make a real live service shooter.

I had quite an opposite experience. Walked around the starting town "like a tourist" and came home alive. AI is quite fine now.

This game just needs someone who will actually listen to players and fix the TTK issues, a starter town thug with no armor or anything shouldnt be taking more than a couple of rounds from basically any gun let alone placing a shot into my neck after eating 10 or 12 shots like that, either way i want this game to be good and actually fun but its just frustrating to get killed by the AI like that

New AI

Not only am I still getting randomly headshot, but now the "New and Improved" ai seem to have instant transmission, being able to dive behind cover blindingly fast. sigh.

yep, can confirm, they hide faster than usain bolt, spawn in front of me, ignore light from attachements in night and have pinpoint accuracy over half of map

yeah i got headshot through a bunch of bushes, the ai sees me when they shouldnt. it just kills what would be a great extraction shooter. like it's ALMOST THERE gameplay wise but the ai is driving me away

Yea expending some of the best ammo like 855 into an npc with no armour into the head, 60 round tanks is not very "tactical" in my book. Get ready to work what money you make into a deficit.

That ain't top tier lol. I think the stuff from the elite and what not is only armor 3, which isn't enough to stop the penetration from an AK in the first area. Think you need 4 for that.
