Critical Issue, Mission Progress Stopped!!

I got weird issue. Currently on "THE ART OF DECEPTION" mission.
- Picked "false document" at the base
- Died and lost document while progressing

Now it shows that document collected but I don't have it since I have lost it, and I can't pick it again from base either~~

The only option is to reset a mission, how to do that???
Completely got stuck. Tried to reinstall the game, verify files etc. nothing works..

I think you can cancel the mission from the Vendors' Tasks menu

Not possible. once accepted no way to cancel..

note to self, always put mission critical info in safe locker

I did not die but after picking up the file and bringing it back to basecamp the task does not progress.

So I just fixed mine.. kinda on accident though so I went back to where I died and got into another fight rushing in and as I was getting shot at the game kicked me out back to menu with an error message “failed to save player progress try a different server” when I logged back in all my quests lost progress and are all available to click like a start again thing. Don’t know how to get it to happen though and good luck

Same issue, took the fake document and when i died it never respawned back at base. Now locked.. FYI When i took the document for planting it went into my safe locker so that doesn't make a difference

Is this task require a no death run? I aquire the document at the barracks and turn it in. But if i die after that the quest resets. Is this normal?

Yes in Patch #1 they fixed this bug, so now the mission resets. You have to do a no death run.
