Losing all your gear

I am I wrong in thinking that it is a good feature that when you get killed you lose all your gear?
I dislike it and to be honest it stops me from playing sometimes, do we really need this feature in the game?
My second issue is landing zone camping I mean this really sucks.

Losing gear when you die is a pretty big feature of the game. I'm ok with it.

My complaint is losing gear when you crash. This game is super super early access, losing gear when you crash/alt f4 should have been implemented much later on after some stability and optimization patches.

Like how many people would be alt f4ing out of deaths in comparison to the number of people losing gear to crashes?

I never lost gear on a crash but never got GPU dumps, just network crashes. I got stuck in geo on the map so I remembered the network crashes spawning me in base with gear, unplugged my router, and when I got the error i closed game/reconnected internet then relaunched to find i was in camp with my gear. It's a long process and frankly I have so much money in this game as a level 13 that gear fear is non factor.

Yeah it's not an issue for everyone. I play with 2 friends and one of them has never had a single crash. But i have personally lost 10+ full sets of gear to crashes to desktop and my other friend has lost 3 or 4.

it is kind of punish for player's mistake.

Yes, yes i know sometimes it sever, launcher issue. but you should min ur mistake and learn from past. this is excatly what game mechanic to shape you be a better player. stay comfort zone make you weak.

I have lost AT LEAST 20 FULL sets of gear due to game/GPU crashes. The newest one is I got stuck on the helicopter flying to the base during a server reset and lost yet another full kit. If the intent is to have regularly scheduled resets then there needs to be some way of letting people know it's coming. That way, people are not flying around before, or do not allow the chopper to pick people up within 5 or so mins of the reset. Losing gear in these types of situations is completely avoidable and inexcusable. This is just one of the many things that need to be fixed. I will say I really enjoy the game, it is at times unplayable due to lag and incredibly agro'd and accurate AI gunfire from a million miles away over mountains and through the woods.

Gear is disposable. Don't hoard anything, if you have it, use it, lose it, and replace it.
I don't even have anything in my stash anymore.
