Having us search for random keys is lazy.
The missions where we have to spend hours farming random ai to hopefully find the RnG key that unlocks a specific door is just lazy on the devs part.
Can we get a description of the guy that has the keys? A hangout that he likes to frequent? ANY kind of Intel on the target that has access to the specific room that only they have access to?

Sounds like there's usually something pretty important locked behind those doors.... I guess some random drunk shirtless cannon fodder has the only access to that super important item... Makes sense...

Change this, it's making your game boring and way too grindy for no reason. Give the key to a "Captain", or HVT with some kind of intel that gives us hints to where the mission items are located.

Lazy? It would have been easier and quicker for the dev's to have coded the game so that the keys spawns in 1 or 2 locations other than have to code every single possible random location the keys can spawn into the game.

The dev's are just trying give us something to play for, a reason to continue playing, as with every loot based game its called farming, if you are finding the game boring and grindy then maybe play something else?

You don't have to be laser focused on a single task. Plenty of tasks already that don't require a key. Don't waste your time only focusing on key farming if you find that boring. Do a different quest. You'll eventually just run into an AI with a key organically or you'll happen to be at that location when someone else has already opened the location.

Unfortunately, the two vendor quests that are currently in progress are the "find a random key" and Lab Rat does not have a task available to complete.. So, it's either keep grinding in one location, or explore the map and make no progress towards the only thing worth progressing..

Yup, it's lazy.. They could have easily scripted the "find the a key on a random grunt" missions to not be so boring and grindy.. Having multiple missions with that formula is lazy.

It is lazy because most of the keys spawn randomly on any NPC in the area, which is extremely easy to do with loot tables. Placing keys in an editor is not that hard either (nor does it involve any 'coding'.
