Offline singleplayer

This probably been discussed in the past, but still here we go again.

So far I do not own the game, but watched quite a few videos about it. Personally this game could be amazing in fully singleplayer/offline game with few AI teammates, basically like ghost recon or arma games.

This is ofcourse only an opinion of mine, but what do you think about such idea?

I mean it's not a bad idea. But can imagine a lot of people will slate you for it though.

tbh i like that its not offline i like having a quick little chat with som randoms or just meet someone outside a mission and clear it together. if would died couple of times if some random guy didnt ran in to me and gave me some Meds

The thing is even in pve the social aspect is always given and part of the gameplay. Like meeting others on a mission maybe on has the key you need team up and so on. So i guess while the idea is neat it will never happen

It wouldn't shock me to see a private server option eventually which could end up being locally hosted servers, but AI teammates being implemented and working to a satisfactory condition is a big ask. I certainly wouldn't mind the ability to host locally or even a third party SPT-like project, but I imagine it would definitely need the ability to tweak AI spawns to a vicinity of player because if the servers currently spawn all AI across the map, that'd be a hell of a hard server to run and play on the same machine.

The PvE server will suit you if you play with friends they can guard your body if the bots kill you.
