In my 39 hours of playing this game i have never crashed, until today. Where i crashed twice in like 10 mins into the game.. Lost all my ♥♥♥♥ too because no reconnect....

I doubt its this but its worth a try. Ive been having issues playing this game on my 14th gen Intel CPU. The only fix Ive found that works is underclocking my speeds using the intel tuning software.

Ok this is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ silly now, crashed 2 more times and then the server disconnected me saying progression was not saved and all my gear was gone. And then its crashed me to desktop from menus too.... Seriously, 40 hrs in and today all this start..

I also started crashing today all of a sudden. Played just fine for hours yesterday with 0 crashes. Did they push an update?

Its doing the same to me, 70 hours on game had it for a week at most and now i cant play at all

Ahh the dreaded gpu crash dump. I only ever get that if I use Frame generation along with fsr. If frame gen is off, zero gpu dump crash errors.

I crashed 2x in 15 minutes as well and quit. I'm not going to keep losing my gear. Had servers crash 2x yesterday and GPU crash 2x also yesterday.

Weird, I use fsr and frame gen, only crashed twice and both times it was because I was finnicking in and out of a queue with a friend so felt like it was self inflicted. Not saying crashing doesn't exist bc it most definitely is a big issue.

Yeah I can reproduce it everytime without fail, frame gen on, gpu crashdump error

i for example dont have frame gen on and keep getting same error crash since the 8th, havent changed any settings or anything and dont even have intel CPU :D it has to be on the developers end theres no other logical explanation

For me, I'm convinced it's due to my vram being only 6gb although I've read up as much as I could find about frame generation and gpu crash dump errors as its widespread across a number of games and not exclusive to gzw. It's a rabbit hole but it appears nvidia are aware of issues relating to 30xx series cards and lower and their ability to utilise frame gen by amd but refuses to admit it's fixable so as to push their 40xx series cards (or something like that). So it may well be the case that what's causing crash dump error for me isn't causing it for you type thing. It's a complicated situation and seemingly not just the fault/responsibilty of just one set of game devs for just one product. Sad but seemingly true

In the same boat here, no reproducible crashes until the past day. Lost about 40k and most of my looted guns. It's lame and makes me appreciate Star Citizen's crash / 30k protection system (if the server crashes, your loot is safe). Guess the safest bet is to wait until they roll out another update. Which sucks to say as the game has been absolutely great otherwise.

Same thing only thing that has updated today is 3d card drivers and now its crashing all the time 3 times on the way to ao and now i died and it crashed on the way back ive lost everything as it has put me in another server great game today

well this game is unplayable today two days ago could play for 5 hrs straight now i cant even get 5 mins without a crash or something great game very much

Quick tip that worked out for me.

Turn of Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling in the windows graphics settings, and restart your PC.

Be safe, leave your valuables at base.
Then take a short flight to test the stability of the game.

Same thing happening to me with a 3080. Was fine for the first 40 hours, now it always crashes with this error and I lose all my gear AND quest progression.
