Anyone else with these problems?
I was wondering if you guys have the same problems, or if those are more related to my setup.

1.) Mouse pointer not on target. I have a 34UW monitor and if I want to place a waypoint on the map or click on the base to call in an extraction chopper, the mouse pointer is always some way off to the left...I have to fumble around pointing somwhere to the left until the base icon is highlighted for example. Very annoying.

2.) Text is barely visible - the menu text is very blurry and hard to read. I do have an OLED, but never encountered any trouble with fonds on screen until now. I noticed in some YT videos more crisp texts then mine. Anyone else with this problem?

3.) FSR let´s the FPS jump to 120 fps, although it is limited in the game settings to 60 and AMD Adrenalins Radeon Chill is also set to 60. Overlay shows 120 fps.

I run ultrawide as well and don't have these issues. Try switching between exclusive fullscreen and borderless a couple times. I had the blurry low resolution looking main menu even though my settings showed native res until I switched those a few times and then it fixed. Exclusive for me bugs out but borderless is fine.

For the FSR issue, I don't understand. FSR with frame gen on will try to double your frames so yes, if you cap at 60 real frames and let FSR generate frames it'll generate up to 120.

I will try the switching between screen settings. Thank you!

Fsr with frame generation is basically inserting a fake frame in-between normal frames resulting in an almost doubling of your framerate. It's not real framerate though and causes massive input lag, so that isn't actually a problem, it's doing what it should. Fsr has different levels of resolution which is activated with a slider, set it to native for best image, quality will take it down to 720p from 1080 for eg. This could be causing your text to look blurry also.

In game Settings of full screen or window full screen must match with Settings on PC.
Also. At higher Resolution. 1080 to 4k the Cursor on the map & text will be bigger at lower resolution and get smaller the higher you set it. I think that's a problem for the developers to fix.

Changing the dpi settings to let the application decide, might do the trick also. in your gamefolder, rightclick on GZWClientSteam-Win64-Shipping.exe, then click on the compatability tab, then click on change dpi settings, at the bottom of that window, click on ignore dpi scaling, and select "applicaton" Hope this helps.
I suggest trying the following steps:
  1. Ensure that the resolution in your Windows settings matches your monitor's resolution.
  2. Try changing the screen settings (e.g., from full screen to windowed fullscreen, etc.).
  3. If you have an Nvidia graphics card, you can access the scaling mode settings (Nvidia Control Panel > Adjust Desktop Size and Position).
  4. You can try changing the DPI settings for applications.
  5. Make sure the driver is up to date.
  6. You can try changing the settings through the game files, though I don't highly recommend it:
C:\Users\%USER%\AppData\Local\GZW\Saved\Config\WindowsClient\ ResolutionSizeX=change to your numbers ResolutionSizeY=change to your numbers LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeX=change to your numbers LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeY=change to your numbers
(Changing settings in-game will reset the resolution if you modified it from the files)

Blurry text in-game and in Windows?
  1. Change the screen resolution to the highest available
  2. Try to avoid using any "custom" resolutions
  3. Adjust ClearType text in Windows settings (Start Menu > ClearType)
  4. Play around with your monitor's settings to see if there are any options related to text sharpness, contrast, etc
  5. Ensure that the display driver is properly installed, and consider doing a repair
  6. Try resetting all settings to default

3. FSR:
When FSR is enabled with frame generation, it adds artificial frames between real frames, allowing for a display of up to 120 FPS, even if the game is capped at 60 FPS. However, it's important to note that these additional frames are not real frames from the game and can introduce input lag. While this is a normal function of the technology

I hope I was able to help and that you'll be able to return to enjoying a pleasant gaming experience
