I love a good challenge, but when I am getting one shot by AI, and sometimes can't even get a visual on them before they get one on me. I don't know how good the AI is that you guys have developed, but I cannot even get tasks done in Midnight Sapphire. I don't mind a challenge, but the last two days. I have lost eight to ten full kits. Fully kitted AK's, and a lot of fully kitted m4's. On top of about 40-50k cash spent on building my own kits. I am down to the bottom of the barrel. Lvl 20 almost level 21. Have no guns, or armor left in the stash, and hardly any cash to design kits. It's unplayable. AI's are stronger, better, and more consistent than actual enemy players in pvp mode. They one shot you in the earlier towns/tasks, but once you get to about lvl 13-15. especially 20+ and start doing Midnight Sapphire, and Tiger Bay. The AI's are military AI's which are also fully kitted, and they one shot you almost on sight. if they see you. You better hope you shot first, and even then it's not guaranteed that you will win the gun fights. Many many times I have lost a gunfight after hitting multiple head shots, and chest shots sometimes even emptying whole magazines into them. On top of that. I'll be waiting on helicopters so long that by the time I get close to where my body is. AI have respawned. Making it impossible to even attempt recovering my loot. Or this is even better. You won't have to wait for a helicopter. You'll get one instantly. You'll be on your way to your body, or almost to your corpse. Then what do you know a random server disconnection, and you have to re-queue into a new server. Just to be back at your home base looking like a homeless guy without your loot. I do not mind a challenge. I don't want to breeze through the game, but I also do not think. I should be losing my cash, and full kits to random server disconnections. I couldn't even begin to tell the devs how much cash I've spent on designing kits, and how many kits I've lost. To being one ♥♥♥♥ by AI, and not being able to even remotely come close to retrieving my loot from random server disconnects, or as I mentioned earlier. AI respawning making it impossible to recover your body. I can no longer continue playing during this current state of the game. I understand it's early access. I purchased it the day it released CST time at 5am that morning, and played literally 24 hours straight before going to sleep, or doing anything else. Then continued that for another day. I am just done after losing 40-50k , and 8-10 kits.

at least you can play the game...........can't even load into a server, UE- GPU dump crash error......no troubleshooting has solved this issue for me.

It needs a lot of performance and optimization. AI's need a lot of balancing as well. Have you seen the devs list of performance for every type of gpu etc? I have a 3080ti, and have to run it in FSR which does take away some of the detail unfortunately. Since I should be using DLSS, but DLSS has issues.

i think i saw somewhere that the ai are placeholder basic ai, maybe in their discord?

im on a 3080 non-ti and switched to using xess on ultra quality, in the less demanding areas i get less performance but in tiger bay for example i get about the same, but the picture quality is WORLDS better compared to having to use performance on DLSS or balanced on FSR

If they are basic AI ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I have no idea how. Because they read my movements, they will come to my exact positioning sometimes one shot me. I'm not having any performance issues myself the other guy who commented is. I am saying it's unplayable because of the AI's being so strong, and one shotting consistently. When you lose 8-10 kits, and 40-50k cash and part of it is due to random server disconnections. It makes it unplayable.

I am having the same issue with the AI's in Midnight Sapphire being able to see you at long range distances even before rendering is available. Then once you take a shot from a concealed position and even suppressed fire, they all converge on your exact position when there is no way they could see you. Plus them seeing through bushes and walls

IDK. We run a 3 man and not saying AI is easy, but there defiantly is a certain way to approach areas and engage AI.

Unless I am playing PVP which of course I did on numerous occasions. I should be able to solo any area that have AI. Yes, some AI will be stronger than others, or have better offensive, or defensive maneuvering. I of course don't always expect to live. Yet I don't expect to die more than I live with AI. Especially when constantly moving. Not staying in particular position, or area. Using suppressors. The game is just not playable. They forced EA before it was really even ready for EA. They've lost a big percentage of their player base. Because they've become stagnant. They released three hotfixes the first week or two. Now nothing for over a week. My personal opinion. Is that they raked in the dough from the Tarkov fan base. They knew they would make good money. I don't think they personally expected it to be as popular as it was when they first released EA. They seen all those dollar signs, and now with Arena Breakout: Infinite wiping the floor with every other extraction shooter. They are done at least for now. Doing anything with the game.

I literally changed my review from pos to neg just because of how frustrating it is dealing with AI.

They are just bullet sponges and yet they seem to punch through a fresh set of armor with garbage ammunition.
And then attempting to recover my body resulted in me getting LZ camped after just getting off a 10 min helo flight.

Like, ffs. I don't want play if that can happen. I'd rather sit in a loading screen at that point.

My wife is lvl 22 and I am lvl 24, we have this rules of engagement.
1. Ai too far, dont bother aggro.
2. Kill 1 AI, 4-5 or sometimes 10+ will zero on our location. So its time to move even only 1 AI dead except we both are in the building or with limited exposure. But sometimes Ai can glitch into wall and kill me because Ai knows we are inside that building.
3. Before engage, do we have a retreating point if no, dont engage.
4. They are not bullet sponge, u need M855 AP bullets when fighting at Narith, Sapphire and Tiger.
5. Me and my wife, in game money is 300k+, actually I have 240k+ once but sometimes this game makes me want to go back to complete the mission eventhough is not possible to complete. I wasted 30k+ at midnight sapphire 1 week ago, I've killed almost 20+ Ai but they kept coming out from the hotel each time I went close to the hotel entrance. I gave up and luckily I saw 3 players from my faction was there today, I quickly rush to that location to complete that passport mission.

But some location we got engaged by Ai from the bushes while we are in the open crossing a field or road. When that happens, run like hell and that is the time we got KIA.

I like this game, but its true, ai is combination of John Wick on steroids with T800, silencers are joke, use them is more or less pointless, you shoot enemy from +- 100m. Right in the head and all around know in second where you are 🤷 one shot you manytimes from nowhere even if you are in cover 🙄🤦

It's funny all the guys coming in freaking out. Saying you don't know what EA is. I think anyone who plays a video game is capable of reading. Valheim was released on EA in 2021 I bought it the day it released. Still to this day one of the best games I ever played, and I never at one time during the three times I beat that game. Did I ever leave a negative review. I never once thought about making a forum post/discussion. I myself, and everyone buying the game. Knew that EA POTENTIALLY! Not a guarantee. You will deal with in game bugs/glitches. That's a given. Even triple A titles have bugs/glitches. That's normal. The AI, and random server disconnections. Are not normal. It's not an EA game. They sold it as an , "EA", game. It's really an Alpha game which is even earlier development stages than EA. It's far from EA. It's an Alpha game. That should of never been released as EA. Even if they had released in Alpha which is what the game is currently in. It wouldn't of had such a negative, or mixed review. And either way. At first yeah I give them props. Three hot fixes in a week. "Come to our Discord, and we are having a community briefing, and any player can ask their questions". You go to their Discord. There's a six hour wait limit on making a post to ask your questions, and you can only ask one question at a time. Then have to wait another six hours. It was all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. They didn't have no community briefing. They are saying, and doing the bare minimum to make the community/fan base actually think they care about the consumers, and the feedback. They are just like Nikita. They cannot handle feedback, and even if they can. They aren't truly listening to the fan base, and they've became stagnant. Where are not hot fixes, patches. Also , lets stop right there. F*** your little "hot fixes". The terminology in itself is telling you. It's a "quick fix". It's a temporary fix for something. Either release full updates, or patch notes, and actually provide real performance updates, and optimization updates. They aren't going to though. These guys who developed GZW. Are now in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Bahamas literally laughing while they read all these forums, discussions, and feedback. Whether negative, or positive. It's funny people really think they are actually doing something right now. I am a firm believer in proof. Show me. With real actions. Not by saying oh we are having a community briefing. We are doing this we are doing this. Quit talking about it, and be about it at this point.
