To be fair, if someone gets gear in PVE and you kill them in PVP you'd just get all their stuff anyway no?
And as you said, you can do some PVE and get the same gear yourself?
So what's the issue? You just want to seal club people?
My inventory get kinda quick full in pvp too tbh
Once I grind gear in PvE where I feel I don't care if I immediately lose it, then I'll go play PvP because I do think it adds a super fun element, but the heli LZ logic is bonkers at the moment.
Therefore, if PvE player cant move themselves into PvP to play another level of difficulties? Who are the one who consistently to join PvP?
New player? No, majority of new player wont join PvP until they try out and familiar the game in PvE 1st.
Existing PvE player? How many of you willing to start over again in PvP to do those tedious quests to level up reputation? maybe very little.
Existing / New PvP player? Yup, This is likely the amount of PvP population, it very odd and hard to getting new blood to join this game if PvP separated from PvE.
Eventually, PvP server will burnout and getting lesser and lesser population in PvP server and yet PvP server still up and to pay it server rent.
It's easier to gather gear, weapons, loot and also much easier to complete tasks.
Too add, how is cross progression going to impact the "flea market" when that is brought over to PvP servers? Doesn't make sense players can go into PvE to farm loot just to go over to the PvP market to sell. I personally think it's idiot that people defend the ability to freely bounce between modes whenever it benefits the player.
Stop landing at LZs within 100m of POIs. 40 hours in a PvP server and yet to be LZ camped because I will always land at secondary LZs and go in on foot.
Each POI has two LZ within an immediate proximity, which should only be used to extract. There's LZs outside of each POI that are about ~300m out. Close enough to land where the POI is walkable, but far enough away where players will not go out of their way to camp.
Never understood why players land at an LZ right outside a POI where any enemy PMC can hear you landing. Seems footlish to set yourself up like that.
As I said, it felt like cheating and the game became boring after that. Is that enough issue?
Instead of working on skills and finding new tactics and ways to survive, you can take a shortcut The thrill of killing another PMC and get rewarded is gone, same es getting killed and being upset.. it just feels like playing BF or COD at some point.
I would be OK for seprate progress if there would be no wipes, but since there will be wipes every 6 months, I don't want to progress twice (half way) and I want to play both "modes". I'm sure there are many like me.
Why should players gain the same rewards for completing tasks in PvE as those who complete tasks in PvP servers? I am not that great at PvP what so ever in Grayzone, I lose quite a bit of gear, but don't think it should be an option for me to switch to PvE only in order to loot gear for PvP as well as progress my tasks.
There are not same rewards as on PvEvP you can kill other players on the way to task and get much, much better gear. High risk- high reward.
this is how I look at it. Switching between PvE and PvP when player sees fit seems like a shortcut around any challenge players may face in PvP. Can't accomplish something in PvP? Switch to PvE to get it done, then switch right back to PvP. It's like a participation trophy for those who don't want to challenge themselves and find it ridiculous people actually defend this mechanic to begin with.
When the "flea market" get's introduced, I do not seeing PvE progressions carrying over. People will just farm loot in PvE to sell on the PvP market.
Bottom line, there should not be cross progression between PvP and PvE to begin with.
BESIDES, how about u go out and get a fully decked out -40% recoil mk18 from a crate or Ai you absolute clown. you can't.
The rewards for completing tasks are the same in PvP and PvE are the same, when tasks are much easier to complete in PvE. Tasks rewards in PvP should be better than than in PvE. That's the point I was trying to make.
But on the top of basic task reward you have reward for killing other players which is much more lucrative. This is the point I'm making but you are choosing to ignore it.
If I will be forced to choose game mode to commit to, I and may players will choose PvE to ensure cheater free game. We will be less likely to show up in PvEvP which will reduce player base for PvP. Than ppl will complain that PvEvP is not popular enough and the game is dying...
