PVE body disappearing after 1 death
anyone else dying in pve and then coming back to loot your body and it's not there? i know it vanishes after a second death but it's happening right after 1st all day for me

Can be done, if you have someone that can tell you exactly where your body is, you can still loot it, otherwise, if you know the rough location, crawl around clicking F, it'll come up as lootable.

no, it wont despawn until your next death or you disconnect from server.

you probably mislocate your dead-body

No. The body is still there for other players but isn’t on your screen. That just happened to me. My buddy was making sure my body was there and I still couldn’t see it. Nothing to do with misplacing it, it was after one death. Early access, is what it is, just gotta buy new ♥♥♥♥.

yeah it only happened once - other than my body vanishing I got stuck in a tree.

I'v had my body disappear for me when i died, but my buddy could see it. I only have had this happen to me at the bunker. Also, if an enemy dies on your body, it will also no longer be lootable.

THIS IS AN ALPHA.... THERE ARE BUGS! i'm tried of people like mister Triple Star rain, dismissing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ problems, and basically calling someone stupid for not knowing where they died. Remove head from ass you weeb ♥♥♥♥. Seriously, do you think people running around with no stash kit and face, isnt a bug? are YOU Stupid?

Bodies disappearing, hit registration, and choppers taking 5+ minutes when none are on the map. These are bugs that are affecting people.

I'm over 100 hours in and this has happened to me exactly once. Today. It may be a coincidence but I was in the middle of using a surgery kit when I was killed. Was in barracks at Narith in the cafeteria place behind the bar so I easily knew exactly where my body would be. Could have been there for others to see but for me it was gone. Tough run coming back with only a knife to find nothing for me. haha.

Exactly the same experience. 1 death, run with knife end no body! :( For 3 times

happen to me few time, i supposed body fall through the map, ( like some place who have 2 step, i died upper and found body lower) or died near some asset, like pile of box, and just a hand of my body exceeds of the pile, no interaction possible) ...etc ( it's a bug)

Yeah happened to me lol. I was far more upset early on with nothing gear but now I am decked out and when I lose it all I am like ah bummer that's EA for you time to go build a new kit. lol

I've had my body fall through/ sink into floor and unable to loot. Only twice in 60hrs

I've had this about four times now, i don't know about team mates seeing my body due to mainly playing solo with approx 98hrs but no body, no kit to recover and ever so slightly annoying :)

It happened to me once after patch at near julia 1. I lost some good gifted gear too!

Sometimes you body might sink into the ground, but it should still be lootable if you point your gun in the right location carefully,. If you have team mates like you said then they can assist you in locating it.

If you take a long time before you get back to your body ( not sure how long, maybe an hour or more) it can despawn on its own I beleive.

Happened to me once when I died and then stayed in the base for like 3 hours while I was on a long work call, then got back to my death location and there was nothing there at all.

I guess much like dead AI bodies, yours will eventually despawn to clear down unused assets on the server.
