edit: there is a pve mode also, if you want, you can try, I don't play this type of games for pve, so I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥, they got me well. Don't be like me.

edit2: you don't have to trust me, there are a lot of streamers bragging with cheats, even more youtubers. Just google it.

Devs simply have 0 interest in this problem. (they have evidence of cheat program since day 1, same programs works today, 2 weeks later, same cheaters are still running around, 2 weeks of cheating without being punished, 2 weeks of making video on yt about their cheats, bragging and promoting, they play on the same cheat program since day 1, undetected + devs knows about it.)

Next: If cheater can run for an hour in the enemy base and kill all the players and AI guards and nothing happening to him, you can clearly see how big of a problem it is.

edit3: To clarify, the game itself is excellent; as a product, it shines. If your interest lies solely in PvE, there's a dedicated mode where you can enjoy the game without concern. I'm not one to mince words, and I must emphasize this.

However, if PvP is your focus, well... it's a different story. Frankly, I hesitate to recommend purchasing solely for PvP enthusiasts. It's advisable to wait for the developers to finalize the title and address the issue of cheaters. Alternatively, if you wish to support them regardless, you could consider purchasing now and awaiting improvements. But be warned, if you dive in immediately, you'll likely encounter cheaters frequently. I'm not speaking out of spite; these are the cold, hard facts. It's not about skill; I'm willing to take a loss. I've even provided evidence in this thread below, which unequivocally supports my stance on the cheater situation.

My frustration lies not with the game itself but with the prevalence of cheaters who seem to flock to it.

Once again, if PvE is your main interest, there are dedicated servers where you can play without worry.

If you're considering a purchase, you now have all the necessary information.

The game is fantastic, but the cheaters are not. If PvP isn't your priority, the PvE mode offers a safe haven.

But then, cheaters are way harder to notice especially in games like this

People tend to over exaggerate the amount of cheaters games. Would bet most of the time players get killed is legitimately, but players want to claim someone is cheating because they can't admit they actually got killed fairly.

If you actually had any idea about the current situation of cheating in online games you would certainly reconsider what you wrote there. The industry has estimates about how many players are cheating in online games and it is not pretty.

There maybe some of that but there are exploits out for the game. There are at least a dozen sites you can get them for around 30 euros and you can find demos of them on Youtube now.

This game has no real sense of PVP. If you only play PVE like a robot repeating tasks, you can try it, your warehouse does not allow you to store more items, you will find no fun

Throughout EA and eventually in the final game, there's going to be mechanics that encourage PvP engagements. Even now the PvP is fantastic and is the most fun I have had in any extraction shooter PvP wise.

There's defiantly more of it than some.

That's just modern gaming. If there's a Youtube video on how to exploit something people are going to swarm it like it's water in a desert. There's already exploits in PvE.

About 20-30% of players cheat. That's why I quit PvP back when CS:GO was popular.

Even my only game i enjoy for the "pvp", rocket league is in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. If you are high rank, and enjoy competitive like me, you literally cannot play more then 10 games without encountering an invisible car, or a DDOS'er, which wrecks your rank.

There is an epidemic. And these guys are just rage hackers, which are cheating for the lulz. Most cheaters tend to me a lot more moderate with aim assist and maybe, just maybe ESP.

Gods even Valorant is in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ right now. Gray Zone is not the only one, however. They need to get https://anybrain.gg/ up and running ASAP. Maybe in conjunction with EAC, since Anybrain AI is only taking it's first steps into the market.

The worrying part, is that people seem to be able to inject dlls despite EAC... That, is very worrying for a Kernel level anti-cheat. I truly hope this AI will make a difference for MadFinger. I wish you best of luck in this fight, devs.

Cheating companies are making far more money than gaming companies so how the hell do they compete? With zero overhead and far less employees, not to mention, they're paying no taxes. The only real option is the real ID one, which plays right into the globalist hands, so what's the right answer?

The only way to stop people from cheating is a centralized real ID authentication repository, and once your banned from any game for cheating that uses the system you can no longer play any online game that requires it because it's tied to you as a person in the real world. It's basically an online prison sentence for those who are unable to conform to online society. It's just a matter of time.

I did once get accused of cheating on a PVE server because guy thought he was on a PVP server and couldn't kill me (we sorted it out, he was cool and it was fine--but his UI did apparently show it was a PvP server so it's understandable). And yes, this isn't really related to the topic, I'm sure there are cheaters because the world has too many psychologically broken people, just an anecdote for fun. I play only PVE, not so much because of cheaters, but that's my thing. I do hope they can sort it out somehow though because I like their future plans for PvP.
