I have heard every gunfight like it was right by me and it was not.
Its very irksome when you are trying to hear footfall next to you and you hear every other gunfight popping off like you are in the middle of it.
You can barely hear someone running, let alone walking. Shots seem to have little direction often, but not always. And the sound system goes off the rails, whenever you enter a building of almost any kind, and looses almost all direction (especially vertical direction) and creates weird crackling ♥♥♥♥, like the game cannot decide wether to simulate the sound as you are inside a building or outside, when you are close to an "opening" of the area defined as "inside the building".
I've loved flying helis in most shooters. Squad, Arma, Battlefield etc., but god, they are so loud with such a static screech. You cannot even hear the changes in rotor pitch or speed, manuvers or yeah. I believe this "static track" and a loud volume issue make it quite irritating.
