AI is much too strong and it's quite frustrating to see them shooting me through walls or bushes.
If you kill one, everyone other AI in a 50m radius immediately knows where you are and will start engaging you.
The AI needs a lot of work.
Run for your life. Run as far away as possible and take cover. Stones or trees are not cover. Better get into a house right away, don't forget to close the doors.
If you hear continuous gunfire, run. The AI has you in its sights with its infrared laser.
The AI can shoot you through wooden walls, but you can't shoot it yourself.
Stealth gameplay is not implemented in the current state, silencers bring no advantage except for Recoil Reduction.
It's best to avoid locations with lots of vegetation... which is really ridiculous in this game, because there are bushes everywhere...
In short: Run away and try to shoot the NPC in an open area.
The AI really only turn into nightmares if you get caught by surprise or engage them too close.
If you keep your distance and pick them off from cover they are pretty much helpless. If you let them get close or you are just standing out in the open you are probably going to be boned.
The other thing is if you have a group of them relocate after each kill. They'll all keep spraying your last position even if they can't see you. So don't be there.
In terms of the material. Yes, AI can shoot through certain materials as a side note so can you. I've killed AI a number of times by shooting through the walls of wooden buildings.
Vegetation is where it sucks. It blocks your view but doesn't seem to affect them as much. So I just try to avoid engaging them unless I have a clear view.
so yeah, the AI needs sorting! Is the hitbox on the back of the head working?
