so once you have done a few you can just ♥♥♥♥ around and try to kill people, but you probably wont get much luck against people who have upgraded their gear
To try something new. I have tarkov and never played it because I hate timed sessions. The persistent nature of grayzone had me interested.
The game is great but coming from a mil sim background the loot aspect just don't mean anything to me.
I mean to be fair, even people with upgraded gear are getting one tapped. The whole loot system just doesn't make sense to me. If I could just play the game with the starting kit I would be fine but you can zero out and then you have to grind back up a bit. Its really tedious to be fair.
This is just a first person shooter dark souls.
With playing a lot of The Divisioin 2, how does one go rogue is GrayZone? You get penalized for killing faction members. As of now, two reports of teamkilling per server get's you kicked.
further consequences of team killing as the game develops will cause players to be discharged from a faction completely. Don't understand how you're going rogue in a game that punishes team killing. lmao
I don't like truck driving games, that why I play American Truck Simulator now. I don't care about driving trucks, which is why I fly in the game now.
Going rogue from tasks and missions. I've tried going out and just participating in gun fights for the mere desire for a gunfight.
I like flying to a destination and venturing out to other towns. The only thing that discourages that is that you drop to zero if you aren't successful.
I'm trying to figure out how to play this game to my liking. I don't want to do tasks. I just want to kit out and go about my business but that's not how the game is formatted so I'm testing the boundaries of that.
To all who may seem confused about all of this it's simple. I enjoy mil sim. They give you the toys and you make your own fun. Trying to do the same here.
I have no investment in my character so I typically don't mind dying. I enjoy the gameplay and I'm trying to search for ways to enjoy the game they way I like.
Only way I can see you doing what your after unfortunatly does involve some tedius work, might have to dedicate an hour or so each play session to just go to the starter town, farm some gear and anything to sell, come back and sell it, use that to fund your adventures.
Just have to go farm at starter town to earn the cash.
Aside from some of the snarky answers, this game is not very heavily geared towards PvP. I feel like they're way more interested in pushing things towards the PvE aspect of things, with PvP just as an added danger.
If you really want a game like this which is very heavily skewed towards PvP, I don't think Grayzone will give you what you want, unless they start taking steps to push it in that direction. However, I distinctly remember them talking about that not being their goal.
