Lower your settings and reset your PC occasionally. It's a GPU crash, the only fix on your settings is to buy a better GPU. Also, increasing your FOV massively increases your chance of getting this crash compared to other game.

I know the recommended specs say a 3070ti but in the games current state unless you have a 40 series card you're SOL.

I've also found that capping the game to 30 FPS fixes a lot of things, if you can stand it of course.

It seems to be mostly Nvidia and/or Intel having issues. I have an all AMD system, get 100+ fps at 1440p and have crashed only twice.

I have a few friends with all AMD systems also and they run the game relatively issue free too.

Good point, BUT all my crashes with lost loot and everything was on amd with 4080, now im forced to play on laptop with intel and 3070 and for my suprise i have many crashes/disconected but NEVER lose anything.
Only diferences on laptop is resolution, medium setting and not dlss but fsr, Maybe dlss is problem with this, i dont know 🤷

I just had the same problem just about 10 minutes ago.
Got kicked out of the server while still in home base, then i loged back in and all my gear was gone and my active quest (Lab Rat Native Negotiations) was not active anymore, i still have the suitcase cause it was in my safe locker.
First time experience for me.

Go to c:/users/username/appdata/local/GZW/saved/config/windowsclient/gameusersettings

Turn FSRFramegeneration=FALSE

for some reason, disabling frame regeneration in game doesn't actually turn it off in the user settings i think., didn't for me at least.

Open CMD prompt in admin mode, and type "sfc /scannow"

The game may be interfacing with a corrupt windows file and causing a crash. It will repair it. This solved that issue for me.

After doing these things, for good measure, reverify game integrity.

solved it for me

Not a dog whistle, it'll be less frequent with a better GPU. I know you need to be offended but some of us actually have a strong grasp of the statements we make before we make them. As a general rule though, the better the GPU and the lower the settings the less it will happen.

Cool bud, who asked you? You're not the OP, and to be frank you're just wasting people's time for the sake of being combative.
