At the same time, risking getting absolutely wrecked to check each individual house and storage unit in a place like Tiger Bay is absolutely ridiculous. That place is literally clear 20+ enemies, move 100 feet, clear another 20+. ♥♥♥♥ searching every one of the 50+ buildings for an itty bitty folder.
On top of that, not all of us can afford to play a game full time, so my time is precious in a game.
Like my 4 person squad KNOWING EXACTLY where to go, still spent almost 15 STACKS of ammo each just to fight in AND out of TB. Yeah, I'll stick with Map Genie / Youtube; for me, it doesn't substract from the game, cuz for most missions there is still the challenge aspect of doing it safely.
Nah. I am with the dude, looking up guides defeats the purpose. What is the point of rushing through the game just to end up with nothing left to do?
With so many players exploiting the AI and duplication glitch, game needs to wipe sooner than later. The game's balance is so far off because so many players are just exploiting gear and money. Leaving those who play fairly in the minority and at a disadvantage.
From my understanding, this version is the pre-early access build. The game needs to wipe for the official early access version releases in the next month. Reset everyone back to the start after these exploits are patched.
There's plans for higher tier loot later on, but even now, going into area like Midnight, there's plenty of high end gear to be had.
Depending how they implemented PvP mechanics later on. (FOBs, PvEvP events, PvP tasks)
The Cycle had seasons, with each season there was a wipe, but introduced new quests lines different than the previous season.
I think if done correctly, wipes will prolong the game. In games like these, there's going to be a point where players have millions of dollars and so much loot that the game has to wipe. Majority of people will have the best gear, weapons and endless amounts of money.
If they do seasons, with new tasks each seasons, wipes can work very well in Grayzone.
You don't even need those site to easily do the quest lmao. Just read them and/or watch that little image on top of the description and you'll see right away what you have to do and where you have to go.
From all the quest I did already I never even had to go look up what I had to do, they're pretty much self explainatory
Keep in mind that most people prefer to not look up solutions since they actually want to feel acomplishment from doing something.
♥♥♥♥ it, it just Pixels, make GZW great FAIR GAMEPLAY
In the current state of development wipes are needed to facilitate better game testing, so that developers can make changes and adjustments while playerbase is on more or less the same level. For example, it becomes impossible task to balance game's progression when you have both people who just started and those who have played and hoarded money and stuff for years. AT some point you are going to need a clean slate as a reference point. So I think wipes during early access should be fully expected.
