Brand new game, same old ♥♥♥♥. What a bummer.
enjoy
Game company - I just sold 400k copies!!!!11!!1!1!!
Player - Just paid 40 bucks to get walled and gibbed halfway across the map in my first match ever.
Eventually they need to just log and ban but I'd imagine they have bigger fish to fry at the moment with all the bugs.
Valve supports ignoring cheaters. Just an extra cherry on top.
They do next to nothing on any game. But ultimately, devs are to blame, not just Valv$.
Valve can't really do anything about people using memory exploits or hacking the game engine files.
The devs can but its frankly not worth trying to patch the exploits out. The people cheating will just find different ways to go about it and it turns into a cat and mouse game. Best solution is to identify the exploits, log them and then ban the Steam accounts from the game completely.
You are correct.
I watched a very sad video this week, might be known by others but its very sad to me.

Search "Cheating in Video Games Has Become Unstoppable" if you are link weary.
I miss the good old days of being able to pvp in games without concern.
I know this sounds extreme & crazy, but I have been saying for awhile that it needs to be some type of criminal charge.
PVE is fine, but I want a fair shake at playing humans, for my fun/skillset/accomplishment.
I want a dev co to come along and end cheating. The deserve the billions if they can actually make it happen.
I'd even sub to them for extra protection knowing I wasnt being humiliated by a bank rolled wallet buying cheats.
Completely agree. If you can't sue the cheaters, start with the devs and studio for being negligent. Then move down the line.
