Does this game have good gun customization?

I have been wanting a single-player game with significant gun customization where the guns feel mechanical and very satisfying to use. Is this a good game for that? Or is it barebones?

Yes. You can even buy the parts and just build guns from components if you want to.

There is a plethora a parts for just about every weapons system offered. WAY more than barrel device, magazine, optic. There's only so much that's offered from vendors at lvl5 and below, but even then there is so much more than a lot of people were ready for.

Very good customization. After a few missions I spent a good 30 minutes just messing with my AR to customize the ♥♥♥♥ out of it. Took the quad rail off the Mk18, put it on my 14.5 AR, swapped out the charging handle/buttstock/grip/, slapped an angled grip on it, ect. This is one of those games made for gun nerds.

It's good but takes time to fully experience as you need to unlock vendors and items they sell. Also doesn't have a customisation screen like Tarkovs so it can be trial and error a lot of the time.

It reminds me of another game but I can't quite remember what it is, maybe some survival game, not sure.
