Gray Zone Warfare

Gray Zone Warfare

On the fence.. need honest input please
Graphics seem amazing. Really getting my Vietnam vibe here. Yes older guy, that fought the war. Have a decent setup and new video card... NVideo GeForce RTX 4070
Confused with all the back and forth.
So it is stable yet?
Still crashing for all or just on weak hardware?
Easy to find good mates to engage the bush together?

Anything else, that would help me decide to buy or wait, would be appreciated.
Just really my generation and looking to feel alive in one thing I did well in a bad time in history. Thanks.

runs fine rn but problem is content rn not a whole lot to do. So if ur expecting a genuinely playable and explore able game i would hold off right now

I wouldn't. Pretty high chance your character will become bugged when you log out and you'll need to wipe/reset completely to fix it

Not a bad premise, just not ready yet

I have a i9 with a 4070ti and I get 120fps 24/7 unless the map is loading in. Haven't really had any issues so far

As the game currently stands there are 150 tasks available to complete. The satisfaction of the game comes from the experiences that emerge from going to the locations to complete those tasks. The progression is rewarding enough to keep you going through them and the PvP interactions are generally quite engaging. While the game is not finished it still has plenty to do for the price. I am 40 hours in and have done 35 tasks, a lot of time spent helping friends progress through the early stuff as well.

I'd hold off for a month or two right now you have to dump a mag or two into AI when the servers start acting up (happens a lot) the game isn't very optimized right now so there's a lot of stutters that shouldn't be happening and this game makes your CPU BURN ALIVE you end up losing stuff randomly from stash just loads o problems IF however you just want to hop in and test the waters and get a feel for how it's gonna pan out then by all means but just know she's a buggy 'ol gal

EDIT: forgot to mention pvp is really stupid right now they didn't implement faction play at all so you get on a little bird with some randoms and it turns into a who can kill who the fastest for loot so everyone is mostly playin pve

Game is really good I like it a lot but the crashing is horrible until they fix I don't think anyone should buy it right now. I'm gonna stop playing for now until its fixed.

If you have the itch to try it, go for it. Just buy the base game ($35 USD). If you decide you don't like it, you can refund it as long as you don't play more than 2 hours. As for me, I am enjoying it warts and all.
edit-
I shared a helicopter ride with a random player today. We talked for a bit and decided to team up. We played for about 4-5 hours helping each other get missions completed. It was a pleasure to have another set of eyes and another player slinging hot lead down range.

I'd describe it as mostly stable. I've had about 3 crashes now and I've been playing for a few days.

A note here is the game pushes your system hard so some people are having hardware issues. I've got a pretty beefy rig that is well cooled so I have not had any major performance problems.

Wow, thank you so much! I think since my hardware is pretty good and have a cooling system on it that could be used in a small fixed wing airplane... LOL... I will just ride the storm of warts and give it a whirl. I just did not want to buy something that may not be finished.

Thank you so much! 35 tasks out of 150... long amount of play hours in an infancy and development baby like this. I hope they finish it.

Yes it is playable, and you have a minimum of 130 to 150 hours of content right now (that only includes the quests currently in the game).

I run it on a 5600x, 3070, 32gb mem, and on a 970 EVO M.2 at 1440p High and see 60FPS (locked) all day long with no issues. First few deployments it's rough, but it cleans itself up after.

I haven't experienced a single crash, seems fairly stable, but your mileage may vary. I've not had too much trouble finding people to play with, either ask in game, or ask in the discussions and you can find people pretty easy.

As for the game itself, it's great in my opinion, but being EA, again, your millage may vary. May worth letting it cook for 6 months to a year and see where it is later on, but in my opinion it's worth getting now.

RTX 4070 will be just fine.

It's not particularly unstable.. I've been able to play for hours without issues on my PC.. which is about 5 years old. The servers are the issue. Sometimes you will have a lot of trouble connecting and staying connected. (especially in squads of 3-4) But I suspect they will address most of the server related problems pretty quickly.

You won't need 6 months. Give it a few weeks.
