Opinions of PVE needing same faction to play with friends

Like the title says, I'm curious about everyone's opinion on this for the PVE mode. I primarily play it because I want a more casual Tarkov experience, and want to enjoy that experience with my friends. Most of us are on the same faction so no issues there. A few of us are on different factions, so we cannot play together, even in PVE. I understand that for PVP the factions play a important role but I feel like for PVE you should be able to play with anyone regardless of faction.

Just tell your friends that aren't in your faction to wipe their character from the main menu and then select the right faction. Whats more important; playing with them, or the small amount of loot they have obtained?

I don't mind, this game advertises itself as an MMO after all, even though it's not and I'm not sure if it's ever actually going to be an ''MMO'' in the traditional sense but it's normal in these games that your faction choice limits you to who you're going to be playing with, and not against.
Now, you can still work with players from other factions but as far as I know you have no way of ensuring you get into the same server as your friend if you're not on the same faction.
