my friends had that issue in my squad but I was able to call one in no problem. Try to reload game or swap servers. Seems like a bug and once you get it your just hosed

i think he's talking about the limit of helicopters allowed at once. There can only be 4 heli's in use at once. If you are on a popular faction on a full server it sucks having to wait for someone on a 3-10min flight path before you can call a heli in yourself and then have to wait an additional 3-5mins on top of that for the heli to get to you. Not a bug

One option to bypass this might be allowing players to para drop onto LZ's and then only need to get picked up by chopper.

even if we para drop in, the heli is still in the air and needs to return before anyone can call one again. we just need one or two more helis per faction

There's 4 helicopters per faction. If you have one called, you can't call another one. If you want to actually get your request in, you have to wait for one of the helis to leave the map (press tab and zoom all the way out) and as soon as it's off the map, put in your request.

It would be nice if there was a queue or maybe even 5 helis per corner instead of 4, but if you're waiting that long to get one you're probably on a busy server with people doing what I described above.
