How do some people call this a "good experience"?
This is not hate in any way, I'm just really curious. I have RTX 3080, R5 7500F, 32GB DDR5, game is on SSD and it stutters/teleports like I missed a step like hell every second or couple seconds. Delay is crazy as well when doing stuff like opening, kicking doors and etc. How do people call this a good experience and why is it weird to criticize a game? (yes, even an early access one). It's called early access because they need our feedback and all this criticizing, otherwise nothing will be fixed. So to go back to my question, whoever wrote in reviews that their experience has been great, what are your specs and what server do you play on?

If you just take a week or two of a break Im confident it will be better optimized by then. Getting heated over a 4 day old early access game being supportive or hateful doesnt really help anything regardless. Everyone I think needs to sit back and either report their problem through official lines to the devs or just wait for it to get better. Going on tangents in steam discussions at this point are just people begging for confrontation.
I think it's totally normal to discuss and ask questions in here. That's what discussions are for not for people eating each other. My question was how people can call all those stutters a good experience and what their specs are as I'm interested if my RTX 3080 is the issue. Clearly 40 series cards don't have issues which is good. Feels like 30 series is dated already.

I have RTX 3080, do you understand that or am I talking to the wall?
You have a GPU that's barely faster than the recommended GPU for 1080p high settings with TSR/DLSS enabled. The 3080 has not aged well for games that use RT. Deal with it.

One more person that does not understand the concept of early access at all. The game plays better day after day. After a few patches it will run great. I guess you are net to EA or just one more typical gamer that does not real before buying.
here we go again. guess what, games remain in early access for years and I don't have a guarantee this game won't be that way. as long as I pay money for it I can criticize whatever I want. You like it, go ahead and do whatever you want. Keep accepting everything and we will get even more early access games which remain early access forever without any launch or launch which is even worse.

I played it on 4k high not ultra but yeah I have a 6700 and 32gb of ram
It really hasn't improved significantly. I've played it within the last couple of weeks and it performs just barely better than in that video.

the 6700XT can't even average 60fps in Ark at 1440p on low settings.

You are funny. You literally prove my point. You either understand this or you just don't want to. You yourself are saying that my 3080 is barely in recommended settings, so it feels like for someone to have a good experience in this game should have latest series card which is absurd. What kind of logic is that? Where is gaming going? The game should be optimized for as many people as possible and now it's normal for it to me optimized for just 40 series?

Oh yeah i just realized its got dlaa option for dlss and it still runs good.

There's nothing absurd about it. RT is still a new technology and is extremely demanding. Games that push boundaries (which games that use RT absolutely are doing) are going to require high end hardware. The 3080 isn't high end. It's not even one of the top 15 fastest GPUs available currently lol

My 6700 not xt does run ark ascended on all on high 1440p upscaled to 4k 50- 60 fps
I can could even take a video to prove it and show the inside of me pc

If 3080 isn't high end enough to let me play a game in 1080p without DLSS being a requirement it's a joke and I have nothing else to talk to you about.

3080 is highend! FOR NORMAL WORKING PEOPLE. The few that have 4090s have rich parents or make mad money from streaming or rich period. Normal working people dont have 4k setting around to buy a ultimate gaming pc for 1 game when the rest of the games out runs just fine on a NORMAL gaming pc like a 6700 or 3060+

The only joke here is you not understanding what kind of hardware ray tracing requires in graphically demanding games.

Just because you think "normal working people" can't afford high end GPUs (they absolutely can though) doesn't mean midrange GPUs are all of a sudden high end. There are more than a dozen readily available GPUs that are faster than the 3080.
