other than that the only viable option is asking other players in the lobby
Every time you run into a faction member at bunker it isn't "Hey, whats goin on?" "Living the dream!"
it's
"Hey do you have negotiator key?" "Hey do you have ne, oh you too?"
Hell indeed. Especially when you're Lamang faction and it takes you 6 minutes to get there - that is, if you get a chopper quickly. Combined with the fact that the Mithras faction can be there in about 2 minutes and the servers are absolutely horrid right now to even fight AI, let alone enemy players.
Well, I simply stopped playing for now.
If you think finding keys is hard in Grayzone, I invite you to try and finds keys in Tarkov for quests. Finding keys It's by complete luck and you have to loot a different map other than what the map the key is actually used on. There's no set area to finds keys, it's completely random and by chance from looting.
I think Grayzone did it right to put keys in the pockets of the AI in the given area that the locked door is in.
Don't know what world yall living in to expect these keys, which some unlock loot rooms to just be everywhere for anyone to find. The game mechanics aren't broken, your expectations are outta whack.
I havent got too far into this yet so this hasnt really been a problem, I play with the same team mate so we are just enjoying exploring and finding our feet so far.
Respawn timers OTHER than for the boss seem to be conditional on one thing: player presence. It seems to take longer for AI to respawn if someone is present in the area (30-45 minutes), versus 10-15 if no one is there. Probably as a protective measure to allow people to loot places like Narith or Tiger Bay without being stuck in a 24/7 all out war; smaller places like YBL / Saw Mill / Blue Lagoon / Airfield are obviously much easier to loot.
I confirmed this myself on a server that I somehow managed to have either entirely to myself or just simply no one went to Airfield; I do know I was at least the only one in Crimson (but neither saw nor heard any other helis). Cleared it almost 3x in one hour chasing various missions / looking for the Hanger key.
