Madfinger partially owned by China. What are your 2 cents about it?
I just started looking in to which company is owned by whom. Madfinger happens to be the first gaming one. A Hongkong based Firm bought about 7% shares two years ago and that part is grown to now about 10%.

I get your point. I just thought about spending my money a little bit more aware.

It's a fair PSA on your part, Neutral comment and question, I see no problem informing people. People should know where they money are going.

Honestly, thinking of how you spend your 100$ isn't going to change a thing in a situation like this. Even if 10 mil people would be like "wow, not gonna give them my 100$ (obviously they wouldn't even get the full 100$ anyway)". They still would be profiting 15 Billion in just a year. It's like dumping a truck filled with water in the ocean. Doesn't really impact much.

Thanks for your thoughts. I think its the other way around: Inform, start small and eventually it will grow and inpact the way people or a company will think about it.

Are you aware that's the case for most publishers/developers?

The biggest investor is Tencent. Some game company that they invested in:

FromSoftware 16.25%
Riot games - 100 percent
Epic Games - 40 percent
Bluehole (PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds) - 11.5 percent
Ubisoft - 10 percent
Activision Blizzard - 5 percent
Grinding Gear Games (Path of Exile) - 80 percent
Supercell - 84.3 percent
Platinum Games
Kakao
Paradox Interactive - 5 percent
Fatshark - 36 percent
Funcom - 29 percent
Discord
Techland
Roblox Corporation
Bohemia Interactive
Playtonic Games

And these are just some of the investements from 1 Chinese company...
