Best Headsets? (in-game)
So I found a new headset while searching in a crate and am unsure if it's any good. I found the GSSh-01. Is it any good? Is it better than the usual Razor?

I have compared the two and both sound similar with various differences between the sound profiles. It seems that the GSSh make the birds louder but the helis quieter. Not sure how this translates into actual usable sound-cues.

Any guesses?

Doesn't really matter, haven't actually noticed much difference, all I can say is that GSSh is bad IRL lol

Having A headset over NO headset is more important, but each headset should have distinct differences in sound profiles that should highlight certain types of sounds, I am struggling to figure out which in GZW might be better though.

I think GSSh makes footsteps slightly louder so I am guessing they might be better than the Razor but I am not sure just yet.

Anything that does not have "Gaming Headset" on the box.

My audio is seems fine, I am just wondering if there is any tangible advantage to be found. Having helicopters be quiter seems like a minor plus, and it seems that footsteps are louder too so I guess I am wondering if there are any drawbacks?

no, i mean the game audio is messy, you should know it by hearing how sometimes ambient suddenly changes based on the place

I guess so, but I only ever hear it do that when riding the heli and loading new areas. When exploring is seems fine.

I guess I am wondering if there are any drawbacks that the GSSh has that the Razor doesn;t suffer from?

I know it's a new game so people probably haven't done the testing yet but maybe someone already knows which ones are worth keeping and which are worth selling.

They are noticeably different in the sounds they will pick up vs the sounds they dampen.

GSSHs just enhance all sound, im wearing Quads and they seem to dampen most sounds except gunshots and footsteps, which is great for fighting but harder to locate Bots when they're talking. Not sure exactly what the razors do, but its probably something like this.

Whatever your favorite is, is what you should use.

If you find a yellow headset on an enemy it blocks out all sound ;-)

I use a set of yellow ones to muffle the constant heli noise in base when sorting through things or tinkering with weapons. so I always have a pair in the stash :D
