Gray Zone Warfare

Cant Change Resolution
I have a 34in 3440x1440 monitor and i usually downscale my games to something more easily manageable like 1920x1080 because i stream from the same pc.

but when i am in full screen and the borderless option I cant change the resolution. when i am in windowed i can but that basically just gives me a postage stamp to look at and shows my desktop clutter which is distracting.

please help

i know most of my friends can. i feel like im the only one.
I have exactly the same problem as you. I can only change the resolution in window mode (not fullscreen), otherwise it adopts the monitor settings

Yes, Microsoft makes it very clear, "Windowed Fullscreen"/"Windows Borderless" cannot change resolution. CANNOT CHANGE RESOLUTION. That is built in to DirectX.
If you want to change resolution switch to "Fullscreen"

Instead of changing your resolution, use FSR or DLSS.

you lower the in game resolution so fsr can upscale top native. if you enable fsr and check the status in adrenaline it won't be active if the res hasn't been lowered.

I have the same problem. I have 2560x1080 (yes its UWHD) and i also can't change my resolution. Just 2560 x 1080 or 3840 x 1620.
Only option where it works is in windowed mode but when you fullscreen it it will get back to the first resolution so...
I wanted to use Radeon Super Resolution but i can't.

If yall wanted to play 16:9 1080p why didn't you buy a 16:9 1080p monitor :steamfacepalm:

Buy hardware that meets your needs.
