Flickering with AMD card
Hi, I have an RX 6950XT, I managed to get steady 80fps but have recurent flickering, like every 15/20 sec. It's just like a flash of some white geometric shapes.
Any idea if this is know and if there's a way to fix this?

Try disabling MPO. It is known to cause such issues sometimes with AMD and sometimes Nvidia. Also you could try using DDU and the basic stuff like deleting all of your graphic related cache. You can google MPO (Multiplane Overlay)and the issues it can cause but i will leave a link to an official Nvidia link on how to disable. You can also do it manually which i will also link a way to do so.

Good luck!

Manual way

Edit: It will reset back to enabled after each driver update so it has to be reapplied after each time you update drivers.

7900xtx not having this problem, BUT I did have it after i kept minimizing to check some stuff and after like 5-6 times suddenly i was getting some huge flickering.

Not sure if that could mean something with the "Fullscreen" options

Any solution for this? I'm with a 7800XT and I get the same problem, already tried disabling the Freesync, but it still persists

Same problem on 6900XT. Haven't found a solution yet.

The video is not mine, but it illustrates the problem well.

5600x and 6700xt here. Same issue. Seems like the entire world terrain texture disappears for a millisecond and then loads back in with a big hitch. Haven't even gotten out of base camp. I fiddled with the settings for an hour and could only nurse the flicker into happening every 20-30 seconds but still unplayable in my book since I have to make it look like dog for it to flicker less. Gonna sit on it for 13 days to see if they push a fix.

Try turn of AMD instant replay in the driver. It works for me. Still have some weapon flickering during helicopter fly but it is not a big problem.

Turning off instant replay seems to have fixed it for me as well.

Can people who are experiencing this texture flickering issue (which I think might be AMD only). Can you say what aspect ratio you are using. I think it might have something to do with 21:9. People who are switch to 16:9 monitors seem to fix their flickers.

Have the same problem with flickering and cpu being cooked with 10900k, 3090 ti and awful performance game was unplayable. I refunded and hope to return if they fix it and put the game in a better state
