did you really forgot the terrible performance and server status of Tarkov in EA?, rubberbanding every 2 steps and the insane desync or even all those equip bug where the server wasn't counting your armor in game... grey zone is way more playable now than what Tarkov was the first time it was released in EA

Personnaly i'm not a big fan of escape from tarkov. It's a good game now .
But the game is still not finished and is not really representative of what it should have been. It's not an open world like it should be, long waiting room , too much avantage for hardcore gamer, cheaters ... Sometimes before release of GZW i played SPT AKI EFT (no waiting room, no cheaters etc...) But anyway i was bored to loot and loot again and again to reach a descent level. both games are different for me. I prefer GZW, it's more what I'm looking for.
I don't feel Scamed because I haven't played EFT since Nikita wore $50,000 snakeskin shoes

I got Tarkov EOD edition when it was first announced and play their very first EA release on the very first day. Tarkov Day 1 EA release was worse than this game. You really have no clue what you are talking about. Tarkov EA was bare bone to the minimum. You only had one map (Factory) to play and the performance was horrible.

The thing I hated the most about Tarkov was the map timer ... its like Battle Royale without the incremental map shrinking. But that's because Tarkov is mainly PvP and GZW is more PvE with some PvP, which I personally prefer.

The upshot of it all is they are basically 2 different games in the same Genre, so you cant really compare them too much.

And on the performance side....the map size difference between the two makes them incomparable as well.

Totally agree with you my friend, 90% of people speaking are guys watching Tarkov since 2020 when it became main stream and after 4 years of develop. They didn't start in the first days of 2016 when everything was offline with aim bots and a map. Tarky at beginning was completely ♥♥♥♥. A great idea but a big bet for everyone who decided to support the project. This game started ways better even with all the problems it has, and have for sure better developers. So just give them time and stop review bombing it! This game has 2 days of life into EA!!!

The excuse for poor optimisation sounds like a personal problem. Sounds like you're expecting more than your PC can handle, or you're on an old potato thinking it should run 4k Ultra. I run it on a 5600x, 3070, 32GB mem, and the game is on a 970EVO and I get 60(locked) FPS on high at 1440p.

As for the editions, this has been a normal thing for a while now. It allows them to sell the game cheaper, but give those with more disposable income a chance to buy more stuff if they so choose. It's a smart way to let me more people access the game. I'll agree it's a bit on the scum side because they could sell it for the lowest price with everything included, but generally the extra income helps continue development so who cares. No one is forcing you to buy any other pack but the base game.
