[FIX] Headless Warrior, secure storage / locker

Could be a temporary fix as the devs mentioned previously on the hot fix notes.

Issue:
upon first spawn, I didnt have a head, secure storage, or access to my Locker. I couldn't receive mail, quest items, or sell to vendors.


Here's the fix;

After submitting a ticket via discord, (google form and website as well yesterday) I am now able to opt into the Public Beta in Steam game settings > Betas > opt in >
- I was not able to see this option yesterday, before submitting tickets *

After this a patch is downloaded, Load into the game - you will create a new character and choose faction (believe this is for a different instance of the live beta)

Load into the only server available - US West.

Disconnect from the US west server.

Steam game settings > Betas > opt OUT > option should show NONE.
- downloads a patch

Load game normally.

My previous progress and character are the same as before. it didn't reset.
My secure storage has appeared now.
My Storage Locker is now accessible.
I now have a FACE.
I can now revive mail.

I believe they mentioned it may be a temporary fix.
If the OPT IN doesn't allow you to change it - i believe you need to submit a ticket via discord before this will work.

refund worked well as a fix too. ill wait for it to function at least some what lol not here to hate seriously.

This did nothing for me. Sure, the beta server allowed me to make a new character, etc, but when I went back to normal servers and game mode, my PMC is still headless and missing the items that vanished.

Yup. Hang out and camp the forums for a game that you aren’t playing while the rest of us play. Sounds like a good genius plan.

Pretty sure the only fix is for them to correct the root cause, and for us to reset or wipe our characters on the server.

Spewing guys sorry for the false hope.

I had nothing for 2 days; container, locker, mail… just my bare hands, no head and a dream.

I was pulling my hair out. This worked for me this morning. really not sure either
