In game maps / show exit?

I really like tarkov but I don't play it because I have a really poor memory and have to have a map on a second screen. are there in game maps that show the exits? I read it was similar to vigor in that way.

The game is way better in that regard, and far more helpful. You don't have to get a PhD in Tarkov from a Wiki university just to accomplish basic gameplay and tasks. At the same time, it isn't a brain dead experience either. Good balance.

Yes they show on the map

The LZs are discoverable and once discovered permanently on map.

The extract works differently on the persistent map - you get taken in and out by a helicopter you call in when/where you want.

How do you call them in? I went to extract and waited 15 minutes and nothing. I left and lost everything..

Open your TAB-menu map, click where you want to go (so if extracting back to base, go to the base icon, click, and select call for extraction [or whatever] and the helicopter will pick up at the nearest LZ.
