How is the PVE?

Hi folks,

How is the PVE in this game?

I used to play SPT ( singleplayer Tarkov ) and its a great mod but the performance is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ so its a turnoff for me.
I like to play Helldivers 2 and would like to play a game alongside it, switching when i get burned out one one or another. I'm only interested in PVE, since I don't want to invest myself myself in trying to compete with tryhards and nolifers in PVP anymore.

How is the PVE then?

I've been playing PVE for 15 hours and enjoying it. Buy the game and try it. If you don't like it refund it.

Performance isnt great in this game in general so be prepared for that (its EA and early in said EA so im assuming this will improve)

However, its decent. You won't see the AI doing anything crazy, but they'll push you, find cover, suppress you, etc. It's an almost 1:1 for scavs in tarkov but these ones (at least in the beginning areas) are not very accurate at range, so as long as you have cover and don't expose yourself too much you'll probably be okay.

Otherwise, the progression is the same between both. I haven't even played the PVP mode tbh for the same reasons. I'm assuming the loot is at least marginally better in PvP, but, if you don't care about that, then its perfectly serviceable as a coop realism shooter.

Thats what I hoped to read. I'll get the game.

Performance wise I have a beefy rig ( 4080, 12700kf, 32gb ram, 1440p gsync ) I should be more than fine.

PVP is tempting sometimes but I'm 36, am fairly buys with my career and dont need additional stress/obligations to play a lot to stay relevant in PVP.

I assume most of you are in the same case too.

Got the game and it's fine! There are some problems here and there due to early access but overall it's a good early access. Performance is good, I never dipped below 100 fps.

There's a lot of action. It's ok to play solo until you finish the missions in the nearby village(this early part of the game is like a tutorial to learn the game mechanics). Once you get to the tougher enemies you should bring some friends.

my experience with the PvE mode so far:
No NPCs because 48 people can only kill NPCs and not each other, thus: Empty map.

Its okay, until you realize every quest you are getting is a reworded version of something you've already completed 5 times.
Bots just randomly one tap you from xxxxx distance with crap guns, no sights , through bushes and they even attempt it through walls.

I don't play PVP since I don't want to bother competing with people having way more time to play than I have.

Pve experience has been like this: Fun the first two hours. After that you notice the AI are half naked guys that tank half a magazine no problem. They one tap you with half stripped Ak's, map feels empty.

It's very early access. I don't know how the PVP is and I won't even bother trying it.

PVE isnt bad, once you start moving up to the other area's AI will sometimes one tap you from an ungodly distance. But other than that its great

Don't buy it. He will crash inexplicably for a period of time, and when you play the game again, you will find that you have nothing left, including a safe, a knife, and a facial model
