open GameUserSettings.ini with block note and change FSRFrameGeneration=True to FSRFrameGeneration=Flase
Open File Explorer from the taskbar. Select View > Options > Change folder and search options. Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.
(RTX4090 before @3GHZ with crashes, lowered it to 2.8GHZ and no crash at all!!! )
All solutions shown for GZW are the same.
Close this, close that, add register strings, undervolting, underclocking, and a thousand other tips.
I never got around to solving it, and neither did two of my friends. I'm starting to think there's a hardware defect, I hope not.

It will show you how to set up your graphics in game to get best for what you have. Also this crash happens to me too if I play for to long, from logs seems that the game is just badly opimized and there will be a fix in the future soon.

1. **Turn off Frame Generation**:
- Some players have reported success by disabling Frame Generation. Although it may reduce FPS, it could prevent crashes. You can find this option in the game settings.
- If you're unsure where to find it, try navigating to **C:\\Users\\username\\AppData\\Local\\GZW\\Saved\\Config\\WindowsClient** and open the **GameUserSettings.ini** file with a text editor. Change `FSRFrameGeneration=True` to `FSRFrameGeneration=False`.
2. **Check Your PC Specs and Graphics Drivers**:
- Ensure that your PC meets or exceeds the game's minimum specifications.
- Update your graphics drivers to the latest version.
3. **Lower GPU Clock**:
- Some users have resolved crashes by slightly lowering their GPU clock. For example, if you were running at 3 GHz, try lowering it to 2.8 GHz.
4. **Windows TDR Settings**:
- Windows has a feature called Timeout Detection and Recovery (TDR) that monitors GPU activity. If it detects a problem, it can cause crashes.
- You can adjust TDR settings, but be cautious as this involves modifying system behaviour. Consult online resources for guidance on adjusting TDR settings.
