I am apart of a group of about 30 looking for a game we can all play together. I saw a note on 3 factions and 16 players per faction? Is there a way for a group of 30 to easy split up between 2 factions and group up easy in game?

No, this is still an extraction shooter at the end of the day.

Squads max out at 4 to enter into games together. You could theoretically get lucky and join the same server as another group.

As for factions, they just determine your spawn/who you team up with/your "owned" areas on the map.
