PvE mode clarification

Quick and simple.

1. Is there a PvE mode currently in the game or planned to be implemented?
2. If so, how does the PvE mode function, as in, can you insure gear, do you lose it all etc?

there is pve mode but you cant insure stuff but nobody can loot you so you can go to the place you died and get your stuff

Unless you die a second time, then your previous body and it's loot despawns

Yeah it's even more assured that you get your stuff back than in Tarkov. At least in PvE mode. As explained above, in PvE players can't loot you. So your body is guaranteed to still be there so you can go there and loot it. Just make sure you aren't dying on the way, because if you die again before looting your body, it disappears and leaves behind your new dead body instead. I died a few times yesterday but always managed to just walk back to my dead body and loot back my gear.

Ok.
Does that mean in PvE there are other players, they just can't harm each other?
Is good gear hard to come by? Assuming you die twice and your main gear is gone.

There is a PVE mode. Players can not kill you or get your lot when you die. After you die you can go back and get your loot from your body. But If you die again while trying to recover your loot, a new dead body will be created and the original deleted. Meaning you lose the loot you had on you the first time you died. The game practically gives you 1 chance to get your loot back.

The basic gear is pretty good. The m4 fully kitted is around 1.3K, full chlothing set around 1.6K. If you play it slow, get loot and return you can get 300-500 each run, sometimes within couple minutes. Also if you get the akm from a bosy its a good gun. Just remember to shoot heads and hearts, its a organ system not a hitpint system. beter to single tap then to burst or full auto.

It seems you can take what you earned it PVE to PVP also. I started briefly on PVE and when switching to PVPVE all my stuff was the same including stuff i found in PVE like guns and consumables.

Not entirely true. Last night, just before I logged out, I crashed while waiting for the extract chopper. I restarted the game, jumped back in, and spawned right where I had crashed with all my gear.
